Mia and Will are not just clients, they are personal family friends. I first met Mia when she was a tween. Her mom Gina was our photographer, who took newborn photos for us, when my first daughter was born. In our conversation on that initial shoot, I told Gina I was an aspiring photographer, and that my dream was to shoot weddings one day. I later went to one of her wksps to learn how to shoot in Manual mode on my DSLR! So, it’s a VERY full circle moment, that 13 years later, I am the one photographing her first born daughter’s wedding!
Mia and Will’s wedding day was absolutely perfect! It felt like we were stepping into a Hallmark Christmas movie. They got a rare mild, sunny, mid December day, at Rocky’s Lake Estate. The beautiful venue they selected, backs up to Mia’s parents neighborhood, so it felt like an extension of their home, being so close by! They incorporated a festive holiday vibe into their decor, with Christmas trees, wreaths, and of course plenty of twinkle lights! Everyone feasted on delicious Italian food, before turning it up on the dance floor! And to complete the wintery Rom-Com feel of the day, it had to end with a kiss in the snow! Here are a lot of photos from the day, because I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites!
Mia & Will- It was an honor to document your bIg day, and get to celebrate with you both! I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you two will do together, as you start this next chapter of your lives as husband and wife! I hope the photos will forever be a reminder to you, of how much love and joy you were surrounded by on your wedding day! XOXO, Bre
