If you’ve never been to The Twelve Oaks bed and Breakfast, you are missing out! This incredible mansion has such a rich history, dating all the way back to 1836 when it was first built. It was the inspiration for Ashley’s home in Gone with the Wind, and it is one of the best examples of Antebellum architecture in the South. The amazing restoration of this beautiful property was all thanks to the passion of Nicole Greer, the owner and now bride! She and John have worked together on much of the renovations, so it was only fitting that the house play a featured role in their big day! The wedding was a perfectly intimate southern affair, with every detail lovingly thought out and executed. The talented bride, along with her friends did much of the decor design, which as you will see from the pictures below, is quite impressive! It was such a special day, watching these two join their lives together, and made even sweeter by Nicole’s adorable son who proudly walked her down the aisle, and gave her away (at least until the honeymoon is over)! Here are some of the highlights from the day.
