Lisa and I got to know each other when I photographed her family back in 2013. Her dad had a serious health scare, and they wanted to get some family photos of her parents, siblings, and all the nieces and nephews together while they had the chance. The last 6 years have had some major ups and downs for their family, the hardest of which was suddenly losing their dad last year. Despite the heartache of that loss, Lisa always seems to have a smile on her face, and find a way to have fun, and laugh amidst the chaos of life, which I really respect about her.
She has been dating Ray (who I have been hearing about for the last few years) but had never gotten to meet. He popped the question a little over a month ago, and of course she said Yes, followed by, “Hey can we get married next month, when my extended family is all in town from England.” Ray agreed, and the rapid wedding planning commenced! I am so excited to be able to capture this special day for these two, and to celebrate how happy they make one another, and by extension all of those around them.
Here are a few of my favorite images from our engagement session in Alpharetta this week. And stay tuned, for wedding photos coming NEXT WEEK!!
Lisa & Ray- It was so fun hanging out, running around Avalon and eating Ice cream at Jeni’s together! Counting down the days until the wedding. See you guys very soon! All the best, Bre
LOVE! IT. ALL! Thank you so much for this beautiful session, Bre – even with Ray being a reluctant model (haha), we had a BLAST! (the ice cream was definitely a plus!!) The count down is on! And I’m so excited for Monday and for you to be there to capture all the great memories 🙂
